“giving out an EXTRA $2250 for the 1st place winners”
this is a typo right?
Just out of curiosity aren’t most fighting game tourneys played on PS3? I’m having a hard time finding a good converter for PS3 to 360 (lag free and wired), that’s been the only thing holding me back from going to a tournament at galaxy arcade.
@Will no, this amount is split between 6 different games, it’s not PER game
@Yondao You can order PS2 to 360 converters online that are lag free. We have several local players that use these, and they run about $25 shipped.
@Yondao: XBox360s are the preferred console for all Capcom games. PS3s are preferred for Namco games. KOF13 and P4A so far have no obvious differences between systems.
Sony provides the PS3s at EVO, and this is why it is a uniform console there. Season’s Beatings, UFGT8, SoCal Regionals, and more BIG tournaments have used Xbox360s (some exclusively) in the past, present, and future.
http://www.etokki.com has a good PS2->360 converter available. They also sell the best PS2->PS3 converter, too, so you can just use one PS2 pad or PS2 stick for all of your needs.
We have updated the payout for Tekken Tag 2 and changed the requirement for bonus money to be added to the pot, please read
